Actually, the son was already leaving but his mother insisted on having tea. Then they both had their tea. If she had asked the price of the tea then I would have told her that this big cup of tea costs Rs 150(1.3USD) and this small one costs Rs 100(0.88USD). If she had requested then I would have given her some discount also but she didn’t even ask and at last when they both finished their tea and I told her the price is Rs 150 she got angry and didn’t gave the money in my hand but threw them on the ground. Then the mother and son left murmuring which I couldn’t understand.

If she had asked the price of the tea then I would have told her that this big cup of tea costs Rs 150(1.3USD) and this small one costs Rs 100(0.88USD). Then the mother and son left murmuring which I couldn’t understand.
Then they took out a camera from their bag and started taking pictures of my temple. It didn’t bother me when she threw the money on the ground but when she started taking the pictures of my temple I got angry. I said “why are you taking the pictures of my temple? You just can’t! ”. Then she pushed me and said, “Shut up!.” Then she reached out straight to her bag’s side pocket and took out a SWISS KNIFE. Seeing that I couldn’t think of anything and came inside, took out this piece of wood which was nearly getting half already. When she suddenly came to hit me with her two trekking sticks I used this to hit them back so this wood broke into two halves. Unconsciously I carried both of these half woods instead of one which you see in that video.
Then after all that I took a few steps back to here but she was trying to play some trick and take my videos on her camera. She must have thought of reporting other tourists. She kept on following me like that and that’s when I felt like she is giving so much trouble. So I took this wood and chased her to away to the Water Tap (somewhere on the way). After that, she sat on the ground and apologized saying sorry sorry I did a mistake (grabbing the sticks and Swiss knife, everything on her hand). Then in my angry mood, I must have scolded her or said anything that came to my mouth.
Then a guide brother (from Mustang) showed up there with the/a white tourist (I don’t know if she is referring to the son or some other white tourist) and I told him everything about her showing the knife for just a cup of tea. Then he said “oh.. that’s very sad I thought this kid came running because he is sick.” Then the brother and I came back here. That is all that happened. I didn’t even touch her with the sticks instead of that when she tried to hit me with her sticks and I tried to reflect it, this wood broke into two sticks. But in my anger, I hit her back with a small stone, near the water tap. You can see it in the video. And then she sat on a stone saying sorry sorry.
Then I said to her that tourists like you who come from England sometimes even tip us Rs 2000 to 3000 unlike you who took everything for granted and say Rs 150 is expensive. It costs 1500 just to bring 1 bag of supplies up here and feeding them tops the costs up to 3000 each bag. I said a lot of things in that mood I don’t remember.
We took that little incident lightly and didn’t give much thought to it but after a month all these things came to talk and then the ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) called us. We lost 15 days of our seasonal business in visiting acap office. We had to visit acap daily and sign there and to add the worst, it was at 12:00 every day.
Videographer: So you had to close this shop right?
Nepali Lady: Yes brother, exactly 15 days.
